I had the good fortune of having Mojito introduced to me a couple nights ago. This restaurant is a revelation for Latin American flavors. So good, I had to come back the following night to try some more.
The empanadas and ceviche are incredible, the guacamole is the best I've had, and make sure you get their namesake Mojito.
We tried the Parrilla Mojito, Bistec a Caballo, and the Vaca Frita. All were fantastic and worth coming back for, but the Vaca Frita is a must order for someone at the table.
Luam, the owner, truly cares about the customer, and he'll make sure you have a meal you won't soon forget. -

Came here after a business meeting!
Where helped by Victor and the owner himself!
We ordered Mojito platter, everything was delicious, best chimichurri sauce, my husband had the vaca frita and I had the pollo asado!
No joke, I thought I was in Nicaragua eating a meal!
The Mojito where strong and delicious!
The owner is super friendly and Victor was super attentive to our needs!
I will comeback and it's a must for you to try!!
Great food and great service!!! -

Well gang Im eating again!! Yes one of my favorite activities to do!! Bridget was my server quiet BUT friendly and attentive. Street Parking and outside seating. This cute vibrant spot is located on the corner of where 2 streets merge. 18% gratuity is automatic for groups 6 or more.
I ordered Vaca Frita, a traditional Cuban dish. Shredded beef marinated in lime juice and sautéed with onions, garlic and sweet peppers. Served with congrí and maduros.
I like to try new food espeially from cultures other than my own thats one way of learning about one another.
The neat thing about this place is their menu has a glossary, that I had to refer to for congri and maduros. Congti is a cuban version of rice and beans. Maduros are fried sweet plantains and this was a fine fried treat!
I also tried a bit of Tortilla Española baked
Potatoes, egg and onions, frittata style. Topped with tomato and avocado.
The portions were well but i like to eat a little and come back to my food later so me and my to go box happily departed!!
Thank you and until next time "disfrute de la buena comida" -

I really really want to like this place as I was recommended by a co-worker to come here and also the high review... however, I left pretty disappointed...
It's a cute little place right off the freeway and although it was street parking, it was fairly easy to park. We came at around 5 and got seated outside l, which has a nice breeze because the weather was so nice.
We ended up ordering a mojito, the camerones Miranda (appetizer) and the pescado mojito. It wasn't busy yet, but we still waited quite long for our stuff (10 minutes for the mojito, +30 minutes for our food). Both dishes was yummy. The shrimp with pineapple went very well together and the fish has a nice spice to it. The maduros was not my favorite, it was too soft and the tostones was too hard in my opinion. However, it definitely lighten my mood because the food was worth the wait.
However, the server asked if we wanted hot sauce and I immediately/excitedly said yes, but he totally forgot about it so I never got my hot sauce...so that was a let down.
Also, we ordered the camerones Miranda appetizer, not knowing that there was an entree with the exact same name. We wanted the appetizer because it was light and the server never clarified with us what we wanted. So we got the entree instead and we found out by looking at the bill and saw that they charged us for the entree and looking through the menu and saw that the app and entree had exact the same name...
We end up paying close to $60 for our meal. For such a laid back, homey place, the price of food doesn't fit the environment.
So overall, with the miscommunication, wait time, and lack of service, I probably won't be back anytime soon. -

I've visited this restaurant multiple times, so this is a thoroughly researched review!
The food and drinks are incredible. I always order the mojito (a full lime in each!). I've had several of the other dishes on the menu, and everything has been amazing so far. The plantain app is just enough for two to split, and the entrees are large enough to take some home.
The food can be a little costly, but it's worth it for the authentic flavors and cooking styles. The meat in particular is clearly slow cooked and marinated for long periods of time. Pabellón is my favorite dish so far!
The only downside is that the wait staff doesn't seem to assign tables. Instead, they both check in with everyone. This leads to them checking in a LOT since they double up. It makes keeping up conversation kind of difficult.
The food can also take a while to get to the table, but this doesn't bother me too much here since the atmosphere is laid back and the food never takes more than 20-30 min.
All in all, the food is worth the cost and wait - go here and try it out!
